Your Role

As a Client Lead, you will be responsible for growing our client accounts, acting as a strategic advisor to provide insightful recommendations, and collaborating with the project leads and discipline leads to oversee the success of the project team’s work.
In order to enhance the team’s impact and add value to people and the planet, you will work cross functionally with strategists, designers, and engineers to balance desirability, feasibility, and viability considerations in all project deliverables. You will understand the client’s business needs, define a strategy for uncovering opportunities, and deliver compelling business cases to support continuation and expansion of work. By delivering excellent work, you will build strong relationships with our clients and help us grow within their organizations.

You will have 10+ years of experience working in an environment that requires the following skills, including previous project and client management experience:

  • Human-centered design
  • Service design
  • Design research
  • Business design
  • Customer experience projects

 

What you’ll do:

  • Build a strong trusted advisor relationship with key client stakeholders that are Director, VP, SVP or C-level.
  • Achieve individual growth objectives for each client account through identification of new opportunities, continuity of work-streams, and diversification of stakeholders.
  • Work with project leads to ensure client and project success.
  • Inform and share market intelligence based on identified opportunities with clients with your involvement across projects and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • + 10 years of experience in leading innovative ideas with clients.
  • Proven ability to grow client relationships by selling through additional projects.
  • Scoped and sold projects in the strategy, design, and engineering space.
  • Developed business expertise, specifically in business strategy, market analysis, business model design and financial modeling.
  • Translated stakeholder goals, user research, and complex systems into briefs and proposals across a diverse range of industries.
  • Worked end-to-end on new products, services, businesses, or experiences, and coordinated a cross-functional team to deliver client value.
  • Thrived in ambiguity and created order from chaos.
  • Stayed ahead of industry best practices and trends.
  • Been motivated by feedback and the opportunity to learn and improve on a regular basis in terms of your work and how you work together with a team.
  • Demonstrated a growth mindset to constantly question the status quo and propose better ways of working.
  • Leveraged storytelling techniques to keep concepts clear and simple when communicating/presenting insights and recommendations for an executive audience to move projects forward.
  • C1- C2 level in English and Spanish is mandatory.
