Our multidisciplinary engineering team tackles challenges at their core. From DIYers and hackers to full stack engineers and data scientists, we are builders who share a passion for innovative and emerging solutions. Working in collaboration with designers, strategists and our clients, we use cutting-edge technologies to imagine, build and test new ideas in the market to generate untold value for businesses and consumers alike.

In your day-to-day role, you will:

  • Work and play between the realms of design and engineering with the focus on bringing ideas to life
  • Be our in-house maker and DIYer to build magical prototypes from low fidelity to production engineering
  • Thrive in a fast-paced studio across a variety of consulting work.
  • Support the team throughout the full design thinking process and participate in design team reviews, sharing, and brainstorming by providing a technical feasibility perspective.
  • Proactively explore new technologies and processes for rapid prototyping

Requirements:

  • Suitable Degree in Software Engineering and/or Interaction/UI design or any other related field with hands-on experience in designing and building things.
  • 1-2 years of experience in bringing ideas to life
  • Has exposure to no-code platforms like Webflow/Bubble/IFTTT etc
  • Has experience building apps for android and/or iOS
  • Can build simple web-based prototypes using HTML/CSS/Javascript
  • Basic understanding of creative coding libraries like p5js/Processing/Open Frameworks
  • A believer in the power of iterations and experimentation
  • Understanding of design process and practices
  • An amazing portfolio that reflects expertise in prototyping
  • An expert maker, DIYer, and Hacker at heart
  • Obsessed with staying ahead of industry best practices and technologies across the world
  • Fluent in translating user research, ideas, and design principles into technological solutions
  • Excellent organizational, time management and multitasking capabilities that ensure a lean delivery of a project
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including Art Directors, UX designers, developers, and clients.
  • Ability to effectively articulate compelling recommendations and take internal and external stakeholders through a demo
  • Can communicate efficiently in English

Nice to have skills:

  • Foundations in design: Visual design, UX/UI, Industrial Design
  • Foundation in Research: conducting user research and product usability testing
  • PCB Design and execution
  • Foundation of Computer Science: OOP, data structures, algorithms, databases, networking…
  • Data Science / Machine Learning / Statistics experience
  • Single page application creation using VueJs/NuxtJs/ReactJs , Firebase, Mongo
  • Experience building and prototyping IoT solutions using WiFi, BLE, MqTT
  • Exposure to FabLab processes
