About the role 

As Growth Director at propelland you will be responsible for owning and growing new business in the US and Canada. You will help the North America team expand our footprint and win new clients by introducing our capabilities, identifying projects and working with our multi-disciplinary team to scope those projects. You will manage the NA Growth team, and have the opportunity to partner with other growth colleagues across regions at propelland to further develop strategic clients globally. To be successful in the role you you will be driven to meet and exceed goals and targets, invested in strategic marketing activities that will help support new business development, and eager to make an impact at propelland. 
What you’ll do 
  • Own & execute the new client acquisition strategy for North America
      1. Develop effective strategies and tactics to support our 2025 growth plan.
      2. Anticipate future service needs within the region, share & re-apply success cases coming from other regions.
      3. Help bring our vertical development strategy to life, Our 5 key areas of focus are consumer, financial services, industrial groups, health & pharma and the future of mobility.
      4. Own and develop the commercial routines for the region new clients and maintain sales pipeline for analysis and reporting, leading business development and/or pipeline review meetings and routines.
      5. Build out the Growth team in North America.
      6. Set appropriate metrics for sales pipeline generation, accurate pipeline reporting and sales forecasts. 


  • Build out mechanisms to generate new leads
      1. Identify and develop a pipeline of new leads and client relationships through the propelland network, personal contacts, or other lead generation techniques. 
      2. Increase opportunities by developing, communicating and driving effective selling strategies based on valid and client specific value propositions.
      3. Lead relationships with key partners to maintain a regular cadence of developing new leads through referrals, or collaboration opportunities.
      4. Grow our senior advisor network.


  • Build trust with new clients
      1. Introduce propelland capabilities and case studies to generate awareness of our offerings and cultivate interest in working together.
      2. Lead and deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations to a broad range of audiences, from C-level executives to all type of decision makers
      3. Partner with Discipline Leads to scope projects, develop proposals, and lead the relationship with potential buyers. 
      4. Nurture the client relationship through the first project to close a second project with the client and transition accounts to Client Success Leads once they are established.


  • Support growing our reputation in the region
      1. Generate point of view based on trends and insights that demonstrate yours and the team’s thought leadership anticipating needs that we as propelland can solve.
      2. Partner with our Global Marketing Director to define and execute initiatives aimed at growing our reputation in the region.
      3. Develop and grow strategic alliances with companies complementary to Propelland in order to expand our commercial scope and strengthen our offering.

  • 10-15 years experience creating and leading the strategy + implementation for new business development. 
  • Demonstrated experience in building trust with new clients.
  • Knowledge of consulting services business and industry challenges and opportunities.
  • Executive presence and experience presenting to VPs and Directors at Fortune 500 companies. 
  • Strong inter-personal, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of the capabilities of a multidisciplinary team of strategists, designers and engineers.
  • Entrepreneurial growth mindset, resilience, proactivity, autonomy, positive thinking.
