Digital Product Design Intern

As a design intern, one of your key strengths is creating beautiful digital experiences. You must be able to translate UX wireframes, brand principles, mood boards, and requirements into stunning user interfaces for both B2C and B2B products. Moreover, you have experience creating scalable design systems for typography, color, components, and layouts.

You can understand the client’s needs, translate them into compelling user Interfaces for the project, determine the best design tools to use throughout the project, and execute on deliverables. You understand that digital product design is beyond app/web design, visual, tactile, virtual, or sound interfaces.

You are able to understand complex systems and how they impact people’s behavior. You will specially help translate ideas into digital products and prototypes, help manage projects and build client relationships, and help execute on project deliverables. Your superpower is the ability to use your creativity and diverse range of UI experience to explore visual solutions to a variety of problems. Adopting a user-centric approach, you will tackle the design and prototyping phases of projects in order to bring to life digital products that will have impact in people’s lives.


  • Support in solving design problems end-to-end, from identifying user needs to digital product definition, generating design concepts and crafting how people will interact with the product.
  • Conduct secondary research, including trend benchmarking and competitor analysis. 
  • Create frameworks such as customer journeys, service blueprints, or ecosystem maps based on inputs from research.
  • Design beautiful interfaces according to well-structured visual guidelines.
  • Communicate design concepts for digital products through various artifacts such as sketches, wireframes, user flows, screen designs, and interactive prototypes.  
  • Create and test interactive prototypes with users through usability testing.   
  • Collaborate with other designers, developers, and researchers to bring integrated and holistic value to our clients.   
  • Learn how digital product design projects are conducted in the real world.   
  • Manage and develop an in-house project that will contribute to the set of skills and knowledge of the digital product design team.


  • You have recently completed, or will complete within 1 year, a university degree in Interactive Media Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related design or behavioral science discipline.
  • You possess an amazing portfolio that reflects your recent work.
  • You are a hybrid designer who can merge visual and interaction design skills to create unique design digital solutions.
  • You have deep understanding in design system creation and management.
  • You have experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, and Adobe XD.
  • You have the ability to evolve lower-fidelity prototypes into fully interactive designs.
  • You are a believer in the power of iterations and experimentation.
  • You havean understanding of design process and practices, design thinking, lean UX, double diamond framework, and the importance of putting users at the center of your design decisions.
  • You are a DIYer and hacker at heart.
  • You are curious and driven to stay ahead of industry best practices and technologies across the world.
  • Extra points if you have skills in:
    • Illustration
    • Motion design and animation
    • 3D modeling
    • Creating functional experiences through coding or no-coding tools
